Recovery Coach
About The Position
Discover a rewarding career at ARcare. We are seeking a compassionate, supportive, and dedicated Recovery Coach to join the ARcare team. In this role, you will provide essential peer support services to clients engaged in substance abuse treatment, offering guidance and encouragement as they work toward recovery. Using a strengths-based approach, the Recovery Coach helps clients establish lasting recovery by building resources, connecting with community support networks, and developing the skills needed to overcome challenges. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for empowering others and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of continuous recovery from substance use required
- At least one year of experience as a peer support specialist or in a related role preferred
- Strong understanding of substance use disorder through personal lived experience
