About The Position

The Recovery Coach position at Connecticut Counseling Centers, Inc. is a full-time role focused on supporting individuals in their recovery journey from addiction. The coach will work collaboratively with clients, their families, and community partners to build recovery capital and integrate various recovery-based supports into treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of both traditional and non-traditional recovery resources and the ability to assess and document services provided to clients.

Requirements

• Completion of a Peer or Recovery Coach training program.
• Extensive knowledge of recovery-based supports, both traditional and non-traditional.
• Ability to integrate recovery resources into treatment.
• Experience in community engagement and addiction counseling.
• Certification as a Recovery Specialist or equivalent.
• Mid-level mentoring experience in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Complete a Peer or Recovery Coach training program.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of recovery-based supports and integrate these resources into treatment.
• Collaborate with clients, their families, community partners, and agency professionals to build recovery capital.
• Assess every patient referred using the Recovery Capital Scale.
• Document services provided to clients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
