About The Position

As a Product Recovery Associate at IKEA, you will contribute to the recovery and sustainability work in the store. Your role will involve minimizing internal damages and costs related to IKEA products, taking necessary actions to give products a second chance through repackaging and assembly, and presenting IKEA products in the As-Is section with a strong commercial expression. You will also support the quality work in the store to improve customers' perception of IKEA products while considering the sustainability impact of your decisions. This position is part of a diverse team that aims to create a better everyday life for customers and contribute to a sustainable future.

Requirements

• Retail experience.
• Knowledge of how to build quality IKEA furniture.
• Knowledge of waste management and sustainability principles.
• Experience working in a customer and commercial-oriented business.

Responsibilities

• Minimize all internal damages or other costs related to IKEA products.
• Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging and assembly.
• Present IKEA products in As-Is with a strong commercial expression.
• Sell products with pride and set attractive prices that generate the best results for the store.
• Support quality work in the store to improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products.
• Consider sustainability impact when deciding how to recover products.
• Contribute to an environment that embraces diversity among co-workers and customers.
