About The Position

As a Product Recovery Associate, you will contribute to the recovery and sustainability work in the store, helping to minimize internal damages and costs related to IKEA products. You will take necessary actions on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging and assembly, and present IKEA products in As-Is with a strong commercial expression. Your role will also involve supporting the quality work in the store to improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products while considering sustainability impacts. You will contribute to an environment that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

Requirements

• Retail experience.
• Knowledge of how to build quality IKEA furniture.
• Knowledge of waste management and sustainability principles.
• Experience working in a customer and commercial-oriented business.

Responsibilities

• Minimize all internal damages or other costs related to IKEA products.
• Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging and assembly.
• Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression.
• Sell products with pride and set relevant prices that are attractive to customers.
• Support the quality work in the store to improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products.
• Consider sustainability impact when deciding how to recover products.
• Contribute to an environment that embraces diversity.
