The Recovery Clerk is responsible for providing members with prompt and courteous service and assistance, replenishing and stocking merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized. Team members are expected to carry out job functions as assigned, support club policies and compliance, act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively, achieve goals with speed and agility, innovate, adapt, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude. The role also involves delivering service excellence, resolving member concerns, and ensuring a safe and positive experience for members. Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA), Fast, Friendly) and GOLD Club Standards (Grand opening look daily, All items stocked and promotional plans executed, Maintain visible accurate signage, Clean and organized, inside and out) is expected. Team members should also understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for their department and recognize the connection between consistent execution and positive business impact.

Requirements

  • Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
  • Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise.
  • Ensure proper signage of merchandise.
  • Keep sales floor clean, neat and fully organized.
  • Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise.
  • Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
  • Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, display cases, and replenish box bins.
  • Use cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
  • Return all returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
  • Maintain all club policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
  • Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
  • Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.
  • Act with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address any and all concerns and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate.
