The Recovery Clerk is responsible for providing members with prompt and courteous service and assistance, replenishing and stocking merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized. Team members are expected to carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support club policies, procedures, and compliance, and act with honesty and integrity, leading with the member in mind. They must ensure a safe and positive environment for members and each other, embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively, move with speed and agility, innovate, adapt, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude. Delivering service excellence, resolving member concerns, and ensuring a safe experience for members are also key. Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and Fast, Friendly Full, Fresh, Clean Club Standards is essential. Team members are expected to work with commitment and pride to deliver GOLD club standards daily, ensuring all items are stocked, promotional plans executed, accurate signage maintained, and the club is clean and organized. Understanding how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for their department and seeing the connection between consistent execution and positive business impact is also part of the role.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise.
• Ensure proper signage of merchandise.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized.
• Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, display cases, and replenish box bins.
• Use cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return all returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Support the application of club policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Act with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address any and all concerns and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and each other.
