About The Position

Are you a compassionate and skilled (Clinical Therapist) dedicated to helping individuals navigate the challenges of substance use disorders? We’re seeking a Clinical Therapist to provide evidence-based, best-practice therapies to our clients, helping them achieve their treatment goals. This is your chance to make a difference!

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family, or Addictions).
  • Practicum, Internship, or post-graduate experience in behavioral health, preferably in substance use disorder treatment.
  • Must be willing to obtain a LCAC-A and pursue LCAC.
  • Must have or, within 30 days from hire, be able to obtain a current First Aid and CPR card.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused CBT.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense and handle various challenges independently.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and evaluate clients to plan and administer appropriate therapeutic treatments using a biopsychosocial assessment.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, best-practice approaches (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT).
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including diagnostic assessments using DSM V and ASAM, consistent with agency standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
  • Consult with external community providers concerning treatment plans and coordinate care as required.
  • Provide regular progress reports to courts, probation departments, families, and referral sources when applicable.
  • Advocate for clients and their families within the treatment program and broader community.
  • May supervise interns/volunteers as needed.
  • Complete annual training to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Lead Therapist.
