About The Position

Wise Path Recovery Center's mission is simple but powerful: deliver exceptional, patient-centered care where individuals can rediscover purpose through recovery. Safe, structured, and supportive care, personalized treatment plans, trauma-informed, 24/7 support, and a serene environment designed for long-term healing. We are hiring a Clinical Therapist who is deeply committed to helping individuals overcome substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. As a Clinical Therapist at Wise Path, you’ll provide clinical leadership, deliver therapy, and walk alongside clients as they rebuild their lives.

Requirements

• Must hold one of the following valid in West Virginia: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist.
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field required.
• 2+ years in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Strong therapeutic presence, empathetic communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Provide clinical support during crises and urgent client needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation to meet compliance and licensure standards.
• Collaborate with clinical and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Assist with program development and additional duties that advance the mission.
