About The Position

Recover Lounge Team Leader – The Recover Lounge Team Leader (RLTL) goal is to ensure the Recover Lounge Department is providing world-class customer service while promoting a welcoming, relaxing, and rejuvenating environment for all members. The Recover Lounge is a vital extension of the member experience and plays an important role in the company’s brand promise of Making People Feel Comfortable and our core purpose of Changing People’s Lives. The primary directive of the RLTL is to ensure the Recover Lounge operates smoothly and that the company culture is consistently demonstrated within the department. The RLTL ensures the team understands the importance of anticipating member needs, delivering exceptional recovery experiences, and exceeding expectations to help create raving fans. The RLTL is also responsible for maintaining a clean, calming, and organized lounge environment in alignment with the company’s feng shui principles. The RLTL collaborates with fellow Team Leaders and reports directly to the Operations Manager. Duties and Accountabilities include but are not limited to: Recruiting, training, and evaluating Recover Lounge team members in accordance with company policy. Working at least 2–3 Recover Lounge shifts weekly. Covering shifts as needed, including opening or closing responsibilities when required. Scheduling team members to ensure full coverage of operating hours. Editing staff hours and monitoring budgeted vs. actual labor hours. Maintaining and stocking all supplies and materials necessary for the Recover Lounge. Performing monthly inventory of recovery equipment and supplies. Conducting quarterly team meetings and reviewing KPIs. Maintaining a communication log and promoting programs, services, and events. Assisting with club-wide marketing efforts, including seasonal and promotional décor. Running general errands for the club as needed. Ensuring all team members follow company policies and procedures. Supporting clear written and verbal communication within the team and across departments. Ensuring the Recover Lounge and surrounding areas remain clean, organized, and aligned with feng shui principles. Performing cleaning and sanitation duties, including but not limited to recovery equipment, lounge spaces, workstations, locker rooms, and restrooms. Because of the fluctuating demands of club operations, team members may be required to perform a variety of functions. As an essential part of this role, you are expected to support other team members as needed. Likewise, others will support you. Additional duties may be assigned that are not listed above.
