About The Position
The Department of Corrections (DOC), State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Coal Township is seeking a highly motivated Records Specialist Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee the inmate records control program, ensuring the accuracy of computations, parole board recommitment actions, and analyzing legal documents related to sentencing and recomputing sentences. You will interpret and classify court orders, release date computations, and parole eligibility. This position requires excellent communication skills to review sentence structure with DOC staff, inmates, and other agencies. Additionally, you will manage work assignments, establish work unit goals, and attend extradition hearings.
