About The Position
In this position with the Finance Department, you will actively oversee and lead the County's Records Management Program ensuring Pierce County departments are in compliance with Federal, State, and Local records management requirements. You will provide guidance and support across the County to department records staff regarding retention, organization, digitization, and disposition. Additionally, you may provide training to County staff. This area of work allows for a fair level of autonomy and requires self-motivation to drive results. The Records Center is Pierce County's in-house records storage facility providing information to all. The Finance Department proudly serves the great communities of Pierce County and has received awards recognizing its performance and dedication to the public. It's a team that provides real solutions and assists all County departments in achieving their goals as defined by their mission.
