Job Title Records Management Clerk Intern We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated Records Management Clerk Intern to support our records management efforts. This is an opportunity for a student seeking experience in office administration, information management, or document control. Under general supervision, you’ll gain hands on experience with organizing, tracking, and digitizing company records while learning corporate retention and compliance processes. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in high school, college, or university
  • Interest in Records Management, Business, Library Science, or related fields
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Organize, label, and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
  • Scan, index, and verify documents for accuracy
  • Assist with data entry and updating logs, inventories, and tracking sheets
  • Retrieve and re-file documents for employees as requested
  • Prepare files for audits, compliance checks, or off-site storage
  • Support retention and disposal processes following company policies
  • Perform general office tasks such as copying, sorting, and arranging materials
  • Assist with special projects and process improvements within the department
