Job Summary The individual selected for this position will join a team of professionals responsible for managing an inventory of more than 20 million business records for the corporation. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of record compliance requirements, document control requirements, and will perform a variety of records, document control, drawing configuration, vendor technical paperwork, and/or NRC Part 21 activities in accordance with established business practices, policies, and procedures. This position works in an environment emphasizing customer service, teamwork, cross training, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ten or more years in an advanced administrative position or equivalent position
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of new methods, services, and facilities to improve RM practices.
  • Process electronic and physical records.
  • Perform data entry utilizing software .Run established reports.
  • Ensure archival and interim storage records are accurately indexed, securely maintained, and dispositioned.
  • Assist in the destruction of records.
  • Ensure propriety information is released only to authorized personnel.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Receipt of vendor technical information from warehouse.
  • Entering of pertinent information into SAP.
  • Receive and process updates to Vendor manuals, drawings, and other documentation.
  • Review the NRC website for issued Part 21’s and process accordingly.
  • Update the DBAR for Engineering Manager as required.
  • Process drawings.
  • Create transmittals, make appropriate copies using plotters, and update drawings and procedures to critical areas.
  • Collect and distribute USPS mail.
  • Update maintain EDMS for all controlled documents.
  • Generate and update electronic documents for entry into EDMS.
  • Update priority documents in priority/critical locations.
  • Perform emergent work activities to support regulatory mandated initiatives or emergent plant issues.

  • Participate in cross-training.
  • Provide telephone backup for department personnel.
  • Provide other administrative and clerical support as directed.
  • Assist in the research, retrieval, and copying of records and documents from various storage locations.
