About The Position

The Records and Progression Coordinator provides essential logistical support to the Registrar's Office at York College of Pennsylvania. This role involves managing student records, transcript requests, and graduation applications, ensuring accurate data management within the BANNER system. The coordinator also assists with office communications, event coordination, and website updates, contributing to a responsive academic environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an administrative or support role.
  • Understanding of student records policies and FERPA.
  • Banner experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement assigned responsibilities under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.
  • Problem solver with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide logistical support including handling incoming calls/emails, managing correspondence, and office reception.
  • Manage and update files, reports, and permanent student files.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries within multiple office email aliases, assisting with troubleshooting issues.
  • Assist with design and updating of the Registrar Office website, announcements, and print/digital publications.
  • Manage special projects as assigned and provide support for additional areas within the Registrar's Office.
  • Assist with coordinating meetings/special events and provide support for campus/office events.
