About The Position

Position Overview & Responsibilities Provide oversight and technical accuracy for Records and Information Management components of the contract Lead and direct contractor staff on the enterprise-wide inventory and file plan project Manage large collections of analog and electronic records throughout their lifecycle Maintain proper controls for records storage, access, and security Apply records schedules for appraisal and classification of records Identify records, non-records, and personal papers Organize and describe information collections using appropriate metadata Protect classified and sensitive information and systems from unauthorized access Provide training and developmental resources on Records Management topics Ensure recordkeeping practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards Oversee contractor personnel onsite and monitor Records and Information Management project work Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience managing Records and Information Management programs and projects
  • Master’s degree in an information-related discipline required
  • Must successfully complete a Tier 5 (T5) security clearance investigation
  • Must hold an active Top Secret (TS) clearance prior to onboarding
  • Must comply with all contract security requirements for access to classified information

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer experience managing federal government records
  • Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation preferred
