About The Position

Conducts investigations, inquiries, review, evaluation, and resolution of documents for Donor Operations and Biologics and provides donor relations support. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and six months to one (1) year related experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all related SOPs and manuals appropriate for job functions
  • Ability to read, understand and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, communication and professionalism towards all internal and external customers
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to organize work for timely completion
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand standard English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Skill in operating office equipment
  • Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Maintains donor records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion
  • Performs operational audits to ensure accuracy of donor records or blood products
  • Resolves problems related to donor records
  • Investigates ABO exceptions, pending reviews, and determines if quarantines or deferrals can be deactivated
  • Provides donor relations support.
