The University of Central Oklahoma seeks a full-time Recording Engineer and Production Services Director to manage all audio and video recording activities in the School of Music. The successful candidate will have strong skills in recording live music in classical and jazz styles, have some experience or interest in learning how to record and stream video of live music and theatrical performances, and complete post-processing of audio and video for distribution to students, faculty, and UCO’s streaming service. Applicants should have experience recording a variety of styles of music, familiarity with audio and video recording equipment, strong audio and video post-production skills using Avid Pro Tools and Adobe Premiere, and strong time management skills. This position will be asked to supervise a student assistant and may be called upon to help manage the Music computer lab in collaboration with CFAD’s technology specialist. General Schedule:Position typically works 40 hour per week M-F 8AM-5PM, occasional evenings and weekends. The pay range of $21.60-$23.50 per hour is equivalent to $44,928 - $48,880 per year. Position Overview:The Recording Engineer and Production Services Director will manage all audio and video recording, post-production, and streaming operations for the School of Music. This position ensures the professional capture, editing, and distribution of performances, recitals, and events, supporting the academic and promotional needs of the area.
