About The Position

Process discharge records and ensure completeness of the record at discharge. Retrieve discharge charts from the clinical units and conduct discharge reconciliation steps against the discharge report. Assemble the record in accordance with policy and procedures. Coordinate re-distribution of chart binders to the units. Make discharge records available for scanning process. Analyze medical records for quantitative completeness based on indicated standards and departmental policies. Correctly flag deficiencies. Notifiy responsible party of deficiencies in record completion and assist in completing deficiencies in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
