About The Position

The job involves working on remodeling and construction projects, requiring a range of skills and experience. The candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks including demolition, framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and finish carpentry. The role demands proficiency in trim carpentry, tile laying, and door hanging, along with the safe and efficient operation of tools and equipment. Maintaining clean and organized work areas, following project plans and safety procedures, and effective communication with team members, supervisors, and clients are essential aspects of the position. Additionally, documenting work progress and materials used is a key responsibility.

Requirements

• 4 years minimum experience in remodeling
• Valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to follow directions and work as a team member in a safety-first work environment
• Perform various remodeling tasks, including but not limited to
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project needs
• Ability to lift heavy objects as required
• Must be able to use basic hand tools, such as a screwdriver, wrench, hammer, crowbar, and power tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
• Ability to complete a background check subject to applicable law
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the client's specifications
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
