Reconditioning Technician (Avanza Autos by Jim Burke Ford)
About The Position
We are looking for a Reconditioning Technician for Avanza Autos by Jim Burke Ford who can accurately diagnose and repair all types of vehicles! As a Reconditioning Technician, you will perform all warranty and non-warranty inspections as well as all diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work. The Technician will ensure satisfaction by completing the job correctly, cleanly, honestly, and in an appropriate amount of time. This technician will report to the Reconditioning Manager at Avanza Autos by Jim Burke Ford. The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old and has a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of vehicle-servicing experience, Ford certification, a valid driver's license and clean driving record, excellent customer service skills, and good computer skills. Candidates must be able to drive both standard and automatic vehicles and be able to diagnose and repair all mechanical & electrical systems and subsystems of gasoline engine equipped cars and light trucks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years of vehicle-servicing experience
- A "can-do" positive attitude!
- Valid CA driver's license with a clean DMV record
- Must be able to diagnose and repair all gas vehicles
- Must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Must be able to work safely and follow directions
- Impressive work ethic
- Good computer skills

- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Oversees apprentice employees as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned
