About The Position

Reconditioning Technician Bergstrom Subaru of Oshkosh WHAT YOU'LL DO Accurately diagnosing and repairing the vehicle to meet Bergstrom standards Inspecting and testing new vehicles and record findings Producing flat rate hours at 120% efficiency or better Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to Service Advisors Safely test driving guest vehicles before and after repairs Schedule: Pay: Flat rate pay structure with an earning potential of $100,000+ dependent on experience and productivity. Pay starts hourly but will switch to flat rate after training is completed.

Requirements

Degree in Automotive Technology OR one to two years experience as an Automotive Technician is required
Valid driver's license with a reputable record is required
Upbeat and positive personality
Active listening skills
Ability to provide excellent guest service
Strong communication skills
Ability to build relationships with team members and guests

Nice To Haves

ASE Certifications are preferred
Chevrolet automotive technician experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Accurately diagnosing and repairing the vehicle to meet Bergstrom standards
Inspecting and testing new vehicles and record findings
Producing flat rate hours at 120% efficiency or better
Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to Service Advisors
