Requirements

  • Good attitude
  • Valid California Class C Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record; must obtain Class B within 6 months
  • Strength and stamina for medium to heavy physical work
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
  • Capability to operate mechanical equipment including backhoes, tractors, and dump trucks
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pipeline construction, grounds keeping, irrigation, or maintenance; farming and small piping/plumbing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Service and repair irrigation equipment, valves, hydrants, and piping
  • Assist wastewater operations with routine maintenance and biosolids management
