About The Position

The Reclaim Operator possesses a thorough knowledge of the Reclaim Area. Assists the Film Line Technicians as needed. Interacts with co-workers as part of a highly motivated and productive team. Responsible for the daily operation of the pelletizing reclaim system while supporting the Film line.

• Mechanical aptitude
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Strive to achieve departmental production and quality objectives
• Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements
• Demonstrate safe work habits, ensuring equipment is in safe working condition, reporting unsafe acts/conditions to the Senior Reclaim Operator, follows Lock Out / Tag Out as necessary
• Follow quality procedures; identifying and correcting quality defects with assistance
• Identify and ensure segregation of products with assistance
• Operate reclaim equipment (paperwork, inspection, etc.) with assistance
• Conduct efficient and effective shift change
• Certified forklift operator
• Comply with company recycling policy
• Comply with company housekeeping policies; maintaining housekeeping checklists throughout each shift
• Overtime as required
