We are seeking a motivated assistant to specialize in our tenant recertification process. You will work with our property, rental, and assistant property managers on tasks related to affordable housing activities. From on-site data collections to processing tenant information, you’ll be responsible for the administrative aspects of affordable housing recertification.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative position
  • You’re an effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • In addition, you’re highly organized and can maintain complete and current resident files in accordance with company and regulatory agency policy.
  • You have strong computer technology skills.

Nice To Haves

  • As a plus, you have a working knowledge of affordable housing regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule tenant recertification interviews.
  • Assist with waitlist management and applicant processing.
  • Coordinate apartment inspections for recertifications.
  • Work with office staff on other administrative tasks as needed, i.e., collection of rent, answering phones, processing maintenance requests, assisting with social activities, etc.
