We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Recertification and Testing Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the recertification and testing processes of mud handling equipment used in drilling operations. This role ensures that all equipment meets industry standards and regulatory requirements. The manager works closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to guarantee the safe and efficient handling of drilling mud. The position requires a proactive approach to managing the recertification program, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining high safety standards throughout the testing processes. The Recertification and Testing Manager will develop and implement a comprehensive recertification program for all mud handling equipment. This includes ensuring that all equipment is inspected, tested, and certified according to industry standards and regulatory requirements. The manager will also be responsible for managing documentation and records related to recertification activities, coordinating with third-party certifying agencies and auditors, and planning regular testing of mud handling systems, including pumps, shakers, centrifuges, and mixers. In addition to technical oversight, the manager will analyze test results and coordinate with engineering teams to address any deficiencies or failures. They will ensure that testing procedures comply with safety standards and operational guidelines, and work with maintenance teams to ensure that all mud handling equipment is properly maintained and ready for recertification and testing. The role also involves providing guidance on preventive maintenance practices to extend the lifespan of equipment and staying updated on relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in mud handling and drilling operations. The manager will promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team, maintain accurate records for audit purposes, and provide regular updates to management on the progress of recertification and testing programs.
