The Receptionist at Braemar Construction is responsible for performing clerical tasks to support daily operations within the office. This role serves as the first point of contact for the company, welcoming guests, answering phone calls, and ensuring a positive experience for visitors. The Receptionist will execute administrative tasks to maintain high-quality standards in the reception area.

  • Answer and forward incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Take messages and ensure they are passed to the appropriate staff member in time
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing and photocopying
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Customer service orientation skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
