About The Position

Great Clips relies on a team approach to ensure a great experience, beginning from the moment of check in to the salon until the customer has concluded their service. We are looking for a receptionist to work part time or full time hours at our salon. We are searching for Cosmetology or Barber students seeking employment while they finish their program. We are able to work around your school schedule and give you additional training while you work and earn money. Hourly wage is state minimum wage until graduation from cosmetology or barber program. Requirements

• Must be a Cosmetology or Barber student
• Ability to work part time or full time hours

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers
• Communicate and educate the customer on Great Clips processes, Online Check-in and the Wait Time Monitor
• Process transactions and issue receipts
• Have general knowledge of retail products and the ability to make recommendations
• Manage the flow of customers between check in and the service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
• Manage answering phone
• Inform customers about services
• Update customer records with contact information
• Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
• Commit to work a flexible schedule, including peak times
• Dedicate to great customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to efficiently and effectively resolve customer issues
