About the position

As the Receptionist at the Joseph Alexander Allstate Agency, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Your role will involve managing phone calls, greeting clients, and providing essential administrative support to facilitate the smooth operation of the agency. The position requires excellent communication skills and a positive attitude, contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and visitors warmly and provide them with assistance.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate team member.
• Manage scheduling and collect client's information for appointment bookings for agents.
• Call clients to inform them of cancellations, renewals, mini reviews, and terminations.
• Handle administrative tasks, including taking payments, sending EOIs and policy declarations pages data, and updating customer accounts.
• Assist with customer inquiries, payments, and provide information about our services and products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient agency operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in an insurance office is a plus.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with technology.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
