About The Position

IBH Addiction Recovery, founded in 1970, is a highly effective nonprofit organization and leading provider of drug and alcohol addiction treatment in Summit County. We provide evidence-based services including Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, Outpatient Programs, Aftercare support, and Recovery Housing, complemented by spiritual guidance, all intended to offer persons with alcohol and drug addiction, including those with a co-occurring mental health disorder, the opportunity to restore hope and gain skills for a lifetime of sobriety. At IBH Addiction Recovery, we build our treatment philosophy around four core values: Dignity, Community, Stewardship (Outcomes), and Spirituality. We are seeking a highly motivated and solution -focused Receptionist to help us meet the individualized needs of people in recovery and uphold those values. The Receptionist provides administrative support to clients and staff to assure timely and appropriate access to the IBH Addiction Recovery continuum of care. The Receptionist will embody customer service by approaching all visitors and staff with a pleasant and welcoming demeanor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer knowledge and intermediate level user of Microsoft office package to include Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize web-based applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to appropriately communicate with callers, visitors and agency staff.
  • Electronic health record experience.
  • Broad based knowledge of agency functions and coordinating communication throughout the facility.
  • Responsibly function as a point of contact for emergency assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and provide exceptional customer service to clients, families and the community.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond in a professional and timely manner.
  • Check clients in and out using proper procedures.
  • Provides paperwork to new admissions, ensures paperwork and Credible information correspond (address, income, #of people in household). Scans finished paperwork, identification, insurance cards into appropriate folders in Credible.
  • Collecting new admissions food cards, medications, cellphones upon arrival.
  • Provides clients with UDS cups for Health Services. Collects bagged UDS cup samples to ensure proper transfer to Health Services.
  • Respond to questions regarding available resources for treatment and provide contact information to those seeking assessment for residential treatment, Firestone walk-in information, and general information regarding IBH and service provided.
  • Responds to Admissions Forms submitted through IBH website regarding services.
  • Contacts Health Services when a client returns from any off-property appointment.
  • Makes calls for/retrieves clients from classes or group sessions if late or no show (Per Health Services), or anyone the doctor may want to see that is not on the schedule.
  • Maintains a safe and clean reception area and working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
  • Reserve group rooms, auditorium, etc. for employees. Helps to navigate employee calls and concerns.
  • Collecting drops offs to make sure they are allowed/approved, collecting and signing for packages. Getting packages to the appropriate destinations.
  • Reminder phone calls for admissions, what to expect, and what items to bring/not bring.
  • Assist Admissions Counselor with driver’s schedule, phone calls, faxes, creating new profiles in Credible and scanning any additional information.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
