About The Position

The Receptionist is responsible for coordinating all incoming communications, operating a multi-line telecommunications system, and greeting/directing consumers and visitors to appropriate personnel in an outpatient psychiatric clinic. This role involves scheduling client appointments, assisting with financial intakes, attaining authorization for services, printing/distributing routine service reports, and providing general clerical support such as filing, faxing, and copying. The incumbent will also handle confidential records, take client vitals, manage purchasing, banking, and petty cash. The position requires a highly organized individual with multi-tasking skills, capable of managing requests from multiple staff in a high traffic/high noise setting, and possessing strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Personal automobile liability insurance as required by the state of Texas
  • Working computer skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel
