About The Position

Join BRC and help create a welcoming, and mission-driven environment for staff, visitors, donors, and community partners. As a Receptionist, you’ll serve as the first point of contact at our administrative offices - supporting daily operations, executive leadership and administrative staff.

Requirements

  • A professional with at least two years of clerical, administrative, or front desk experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Someone comfortable interacting with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders
  • A strong communicator with excellent phone etiquette and the ability to manage high call volume calmly and efficiently
  • Detail-oriented, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office systems

Responsibilities

  • Greet, announce, and screen visitors; coordinate with building lobby/security
  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls; screen, prioritize, and route inquiries
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries with accuracy and timeliness
  • Sort the mail for both employees and clients.
  • Employees mail to be sorted by department
  • Client mail requires using client data base to confirm program location and sorting accordingly
  • Maintain office security protocols, including visitor procedures and magnetic door monitoring
  • Monitor common areas and shared office equipment; coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and supply replenishment as needed
  • Provide courteous, empathetic assistance to callers and visitors while maintaining professionalism
  • Related duties as assigned
