About The Position

Summary Objective: The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization. Essential Functions: Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location. Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments. Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items. Performs administrative and clerical support tasks. Performs basic filing and recordkeeping. Performs other duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED, or equivalent
  • Satisfactory results from a Background and Motor Vehicle Record checks, and drug screen
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Talk and hear.
  • Read, write, and speak English.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google docs with 1-2 years of experience
