We’re hiring a Receptionist at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. This position is onsite. EquipmentShare is seeking a Receptionist to help support the daily functions of the front desk and assist with the building and executive duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Must maintain the Receptionist area between the hours of 7:30am-4:30pm (coverage duties shared with 2nd and 3rd Receptionist)

  • High school degree or equivalent, required
  • At least 2-5 years in a receptionist position or similar role
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures/environments

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming visitors, screening them via intercom, admitting entry to guests, delivery drivers, and employees with building access issues.
  • Manage, organize, and take inventory of the office supply for the Corporate office
  • Order supplies for HQ and the Technology Development Center (TDC), comparing prices across various vendors
  • Sort incoming mail daily and manage package receiving and distribution.
  • Handle misdirected packages by researching purchase orders, charging the appropriate Market ID for shipping, and coordinating shipment to the correct branch, logging the process in a tracking spreadsheet.
  • Manage the postage and check folding machines, including training employees, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with vendors for assistance, and ordering necessary supplies.
  • Process business card requests for current and onboarding employees, verifying information, ordering, and managing changes with the requestor.
  • Manage all logistics for VIP meetings, including scheduling, arranging meeting rooms, VIP gifts, meals, security coordination.
  • Coordinate the company vehicle fleet (Vehicle Solutions/Teslas), including assigning, schedule for detailing, and moving vehicles to and from the airport to be ready to use.
  • Monitor the general communications answering questions and forwarding to the correct teams using established resources.
  • Monitor Customer Service Voicemails, listening, forwarding to the appropriate employee/team, and clearing the mailbox periodically.
  • Responsible for supporting other projects and duties as needed
