Stribling Equipment, one of the largest John Deere Dealerships in the South, has a Receptionist opportunity in our dealership. We are seeking an individual that will relate well to our customers, respect and appreciate our technical team, and support our Parts Department. The Receptionist is responsible for providing secretarial support services as designated; responsible for incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors and directing customers to the appropriate department as needed.

Requirements

1-3 years of professional experience and/or training in clerical/administrative duties; or equivalent combination of education and experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver License with clean MVR
Highly proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and web-programs
Professional appearance and courteous attitude
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must possess excellent customer service skills and professionalism
Able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Responsibilities

Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls; provide information, and take messages for Stribling Equipment.
Greet customers and guests entering the facility, determine the nature and purpose of the visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
Provide information about the facility such as location of departments, offices, or employees within the organization, and services provided.
Daily Log of mail distribution
Daily Log of Guests and/or Staff entering and exiting the branch
Other duties as assigned
