The Receptionist welcomes visitors (i.e., vendors, customers, patients, staff, students etc.) to the department by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring their inquiries appropriately. Department Specific Functions 1. Call caregivers to confirm upcoming clinic appointments and maintain appointment calendars. 2. Work closely with Intake Coordinator on new referrals received via the Florida Early Steps website, faxes and emails. 3. Maintain referral logs to track daily and weekly referrals. 4. Work closely with the Office Manager to maintain inventory of office supplies. 5. Communicate with UM facilities when a work orders need to be place. 6. Bilingual English/Spanish essential. Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Ability to learn and navigate Florida Early Steps data system and other platforms used in the program
