About The Position
Elderwood at Ticonderoga is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to join our team in a part-time capacity. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors—helping to create a warm, welcoming, and professional environment each day. Requirements
- Experience with answering multi-line phone lines.
- Office experience and good typing skills required.
- This position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs preferred.
- Knowledge of office machines and equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and answer phones in a friendly, professional manner
- Direct calls and inquiries to appropriate staff
- Sort and distribute mail
- Assist with clerical tasks such as typing and copying
- Maintain records for guest tickets and special events
- Support resident needs, including light transport and newspaper delivery
- Coordinate conference room reservations
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
