About The Position

Receptionist La Cava Jacobson & Goodis is looking for an on-site Receptionist in our Tampa office. The Receptionist will be responsible for welcoming and directing visitors, vendors, and clients to the appropriate conference rooms or locations. This position will notify appropriate parties of visitor arrival. The Receptionist will operate a multi-line switchboard for seven offices across Florida.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years’ of reception experience (or equivalent customer related ability).
• Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Maintains a neat, professional appearance to meet appearance standards policy.

Responsibilities

• Answer, assist, and direct all incoming telephone calls to appropriate parties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Greets visitors, vendors, and clients; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location.
• Receives and sorts mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries.
• Manage conference room schedule and ensure conference rooms are organized and tidy.
• Perform basic filing and recordkeeping.
• Validate parking for specific clients and guests.
• Assist with other administrative projects as needed.
