About The Position

As the first point of contact for our agency, the Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This individual will provide exceptional customer service, handle administrative tasks efficiently, and contribute to the smooth operation of our office.

Requirements

2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in insurance or finance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
Strong phone etiquette.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Problem-solving skills.
Open to feedback and eager to learn.
Friendly and collaborative personality.

Nice To Haves

Experience in an insurance or finance company, with knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance products.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and visitors warmly, offering assistance and directing them appropriately.
Answer and direct phone calls professionally and efficiently, ensuring accurate message taking and transfer.
Respond to general client inquiries using the agency management system, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly.
Process client payments by depositing funds such as clients’ premium payments and carrier commissions via a digital check scanner
Sort incoming agency and client mail, scan, and route to appropriate employees
Coordinate paperwork with the registry of motor vehicles, including stamping Registration and Title Applications, submitting documents on behalf of employees and clients, and following up on requests.
Maintain a clean and welcoming office environment.
Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by Agency Management
