About The Position

Spyderco, a conservative and respected leader in precision cutlery manufacturing industry, is seeking a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. As the receptionist, you’ll set the tone for our office, ensuring a wonderful guest experience. This is a dynamic position that plays a vital role in maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational excellence. You’ll also work closely with several departments, providing essential administrative support on a variety of tasks and projects. Compensation: $20.00/hr. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in receptions, administrative support roles, or other customer service-related fields
  • Proficient in Microsoft offices (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently
  • Comfortable handling occasional challenging interactions tactfully
  • Strong attention to detail with a team-first mindset
  • Longevity is past roles with a desire to grow within a company

Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors, customers, and vendors in our lobby
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and care
  • Provide administrative support across multiple departments (tasks as assigned)
  • Help with office tasks such as mailings, building boxes, and other tasks assigned
  • Maintaining a clean and organized front lobby area
  • Support special projects and ongoing operational needs
