Receptionist (Per Diem)

About The Position

The McAuley is seeking a per diem (as needed) Receptionist to manage front desk operations and respond to in-house emergencies. Standard shifts are 7-3 (Day), 3-11 (evening), and 11-7 (night). Requirements

  • Proficiency in English; able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Preferably three months of receptionist experience.
  • Familiarity with switchboard, communication systems, and security cameras.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Capable of performing essential job functions with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Uphold The McAuley’s mission and Mercy Community Health’s values.
  • Greet and direct visitors and residents, answering questions and providing information.
  • Reserve guest apartments and handle follow-ups.
  • Distribute memos, newsletters, and resident mail.
  • Manage UPS deliveries and registered mail.
  • Respond to emergency alarms and coordinate with security and maintenance.
  • Maintain and update reception forms and filing systems.
  • Operate the switchboard and monitor security cameras.
  • Schedule transportation and manage resident trip sign-ups.
  • Handle work orders and key control system.
