About The Position

Gulfport Behavioral Health System (a UHS facility): Gulfport Behavioral Health System, is a 90-bed psychiatric hospital offering child, adolescent, adult and military service behavioral health programs and treatment services. For more information, please visit us at www.gulfportbehavioral.com/ Position Summary: Join a team where the Receptionist greets and assists hospital visitors, answers the multi-line switchboard, documents incoming deliveries, processes incoming and outgoing mail and provides clerical support as requested. The Receptionist may assist with deposits, assists with various clerical duties and projects as assigned, and may assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions. This is a PT position Saturday and Sunday from 9a-9p every weekend.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
