About The Position

Operates a switchboard to route incoming calls and places outgoing calls Answers incoming communication line with professional warmth and courtesy Directs calls to destination without delay Takes detailed messages when caller cannot be connected to appropriate destination and leave written or voice message Follows through on messages to see that Associate received message in a timely manner Proactively maintains day-to-day information on the schedules of Associates, understanding when and where they can be reached Greets visitors, vendors, Clients, applicants and other visitors, and contacts appropriate Associate Directs guests to proper location Arranges transportation services when needed Provides administrative services to staff as needed Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
  • Strong computer literacy required
  • Keyboarding of 30 WPM
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
  • Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine
  • Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
  • Legally able to work in the United States

  • Previous reception experience preferred
