Position Summary: Our busy Dermatology office is a looking for a part-time receptionist to join our team. We are wanting a receptionist who is friendly, reliable, hard-working, and who is pleasant with patients. Experience in a medical office setting is strongly preferred but not required. Applicants should have great people skills, be service-oriented, and must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure

Requirements

Great customer service skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Phone experience
Computer proficiency
Ability to multi-task in a busy, high demand work setting
Responds promptly to the needs of others and looks for ways to help and serve.

Nice To Haves

Previous medical office receptionist experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Responsible for opening and closing the office, according to office guidelines
Be present and punctual to all shifts
Patient check-in/out for multiple providers.
Answering patient phone calls, questions and leaving messages for other staff.
Scheduling appointments for multiple locations and providers
Collecting co-pays and balances at time of service
Data entry, maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Must be a self-motivated individual, positive, happy and upbeat.
Ability to adapt to change.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing day to day tasks
