About The Position

The Receptionist at Genova Nail is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests and members, managing check-ins and appointments, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.

Requirements

  • Understand Vietnamese to communicate with technicians in the salon.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Must have a friendly and welcoming personality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and non-verbally.
  • Functional computer skills are required.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift 12lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for the time of day.
  • Check each guest into the salon using the proper check-in procedures.
  • Register all guests into the salon using proper registration procedures.
  • Direct guests and appointments to the appropriate technician in a prompt, professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls by the third ring in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Address caller's requests and/or take appropriate messages noting caller's name.
  • Follow up on telephone inquiries to ensure that appointments were booked properly.
  • Respond immediately to member requests, inquiries, and concerns.
  • Maintain a neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire with nametag while on duty.
  • Reserve time/make appointments for special occasions.
  • Check out guests and collect payment using the POS system (training provided).
  • Clean and maintain the front desk area according to company standards.
  • Report any safety concerns.
  • Work when scheduled and adhere to company attendance policies.
  • Perform other reasonable work assignments as directed by the General Manager and/or Operations Supervisor.
