About The Position

The Receptionist at Oglala Sioux Tribe (OST) plays a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth communication within the office. This position involves greeting clients, managing calls, and assisting with various office tasks under the supervision of the OST Food Distribution Director.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow verbal and written orders and instructions.
• Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with other employees and with the public.
• Must be able to accurately fill out the forms provided by the tribal offices when applicable.
• Customer service training skills.
• HIPPA certified.
• Office management experience.
• Must abide by all policies and guidelines of the program and the OST Personnel Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct clients to the appropriate employee.
• Answer all incoming and outgoing calls.
• Check mail daily.
• Provide accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
• Update calendars and schedule meetings.
• Keep records for office updated and filed.
• Keep inventory supplies stocked.
• Prepare travel arrangements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
