About The Position
This posting is for multiple openings of Receptionist at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA. We offer day shifts for part time and full-time opportunities. Under the direct supervision of the Manager-Chart Processing/Deficiency Analysis, the Receptionist is responsible for processing, scanning and indexing medical records for completeness and compliance in accordance with federal and state regulatory guidelines, Joint Commission standards, Medical Staff By-Laws/policies and procedures, and HIM department policies and procedures. Responsibilities may include storefront coverage, patient calls, facilitating quick retrieval of specific requested documentation, and providing quality audits of scanned PHI prior to destruction.
