Responsibilities include answering patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, registering patients, and managing imaging records. The role requires a strong understanding of departmental services and workflows to assist patients effectively and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • One year of similar experience desirable.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and directs visitors/patients courteously and professionally.
  • Acts as a customer service liaison by answering patient questions and addressing concerns.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of department services and workflows.
  • Performs patient rounding to ensure timely service.
  • Schedules patient exams and manages appointment slots.
  • Registers and checks-in patients, verifying their information.
  • Processes requests for radiology imaging and reports.
  • Performs clerical and administrative duties associated with Radiologists.
  • Monitors PACS worklists and ensures report turnaround times are met.
  • Communicates with TeleRadiology Services for timely report turnaround.
  • Assists in cross-training team members and new hires.
