About The Position

Be a part of our caring team of professionals at Clive Behavioral Health, where we provide compassionate inpatient and outpatient care for individuals who struggle with a behavioral health disorder or co-occurring disorders. Our care providers work closely with patients and their loved ones to help achieve their personal treatment goals. We provide a secure, healing environment for all our patients, staff and visitors. Clive Behavioral Health is a 100-inpatient bed stand-alone mental health hospital. We also offer intensive outpatient programming (IOP) for adolescents aged 13 to 17 and a substance use disorder intensive outpatient program for adults called First Step Recovery. Our goal with all of our programs is to help people reach their highest quality of life.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one (1) year experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting.
• Need CPR certification and current Mandatory Reporter for adult/child (can be obtained during orientation).

Responsibilities

• Greet employees and visitors both in person and over the phone.
• Provide admission process information and routine hospital information.
• Inform walk-ins of CBH's services, evaluations, and admissions processes.
• Assist in entering individuals seeking care on the EMTALA log.
• Initiate and maintain 15 minute checks for individuals awaiting assessments/admission per the observation policy and procedures.
• Communicate changes in monitored individuals' conditions to the Admissions Department.
• Sign for, receive, and route incoming mail, including courier deliveries.
• Provide back-up clerical support to other departments.
