About The Position

VHB’s Orlando, Florida office is looking for a Receptionist to provide a variety of services within the office. Hiring Salary Range - $19/hr. - $23/hr. However, the final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities with an emphasis on timely response.
  • Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively and positively with coworkers.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented.
  • 0-2 years of related experience in a professional office setting.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM in office.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Notary preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and makes a positive first impression of VHB.
  • Directs visitors through the check-in process.
  • Informs employees of the visitor’s arrival.
  • Assists and directs visitors to appropriate meeting location.
  • Answers and transfers phone calls.
  • Relays messages as needed.
  • Operates office equipment (e.g., telephone, computer, copier).
  • Forwards messages to appropriate employee or department.
  • Schedules conference rooms and arranges for meeting room use.
  • Assists with building management and facilities tasks, which may include organizing and cleaning office space, managing kitchen and breakroom inventory, office supply procurement, and other office services.
  • Accepts and tracks packages and other deliveries to the office.
  • Processes and distributes mail.
  • Assists facilities and administrative staff as needed.
  • Maintains messages and visitor records.
  • Performs occasional administrative duties (e.g., data entry, filing, photocopying).
  • Participates in professional and personal development aligned with career goals.
  • Assists with new employee preparation and onboarding.
  • Provide administrative support to office personnel.
  • May assist project managers, department managers, and/or other senior management with various administrative duties.
  • May coordinate and manage travel arrangements for senior leaders.
