About The Position

The position involves performing various administrative functions, including answering telephones, greeting the public, making copies, receiving and signing for deliveries, handling and distributing mail, and assisting clients during events. The role also includes maintaining employee information and updating informational binders, as well as occasional assistance with setup and maintaining office cleanliness.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or its equivalent.
  • Two years of administrative experience in an in-office environment.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of secretarial or related experience in an administrative professional role.

Responsibilities

  • Answer the telephone, handle multiple phone lines, and take and deliver messages.
  • Greet the public and direct them to the appropriate person or office with a positive attitude.
  • Create and copy documents, make signs, distribute and print documents, and file.
  • Process incoming mail, including sorting and distributing.
  • Submit and maintain work orders.
  • Maintain and update accident and incident reports.
  • Maintain and update Laserfiche files.
  • Maintain inventory and hand out supplies.
  • Maintain departmental calendar/schedule.
  • Assist with distributing information to employees and other departments.
  • Occasional assistance with events, directing customers during events and providing event details.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
